Tonal Underpainting |
I began by painting a value painting of yellow to achieve a glow underneath the other layers of paint. This is a new idea that I am trying out. I also used acrylic medium and gold powder to define the pattern in the skirt. |

Beginning Washes |
I begin adding skin tones with Rose Madder Genuine (RMG), Aureolin Yellow(AY) and Cobalt Blue (CB). I also began layering the blue in the skirt. |
